It’s the year of the club creation that the first camping guide was published with the list of campsites and spots repered in France.
The CCDF’s magazine has been renamed several times, she went from “Le Campeur” to “Camping” then to “La Clairière”. She is published all the semesters and doesn’t stop to evolve.
The CCDF proceeds to the study and the tests of the camping materials on the market and create a technical commission which deliver a quality mark to the producers.
Today the CCDF is owner of 9 campsites whith the most in management and manages 1 campsite in location across France.
The Camping Club de France is represented in all France, as well as in Belgium, in Germany and in the Netherlands, by volunteer delegates in direct contact with the members. He is directed by a management committee composed of 9 volunteer members selected for 3 years, and employs 6 salaries.
Every CCDF member can put himself forward as candidate to become delegate of the club in his department and stand at the annual general assembly to be elected at the management committee.
Many rallys or circuits are organized by our delegates. The Camping-Car Club presents a lot of travels in France or abroad during all the year.
